Terms of Use

Last updated: October 24, 2026 · AppBlips & TechMitten LLC

01Scope

These terms apply to the AppBlips website and desktop application provided by TechMitten LLC. By downloading, installing, or using AppBlips, you agree to these terms. The source code is also governed by the MIT license included with the project.

02Free and Open-Source Software

AppBlips is provided at no charge and does not require an AppBlips account or subscription. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the software as permitted by the MIT license. If these terms conflict with rights granted by that license for the source code, the MIT license controls for that code.

AppBlips incorporates third-party open-source software components, each governed by its own open-source license. Attribution notices and license terms for those third-party components can be found inside the desktop application.

03AI Providers, AppBlips Credits, and Costs

You may either subscribe to an optional monthly AppBlips AI Credits plan (processed by Polar.sh as Merchant of Record) to use hosted AI models without an API key, or configure your own third-party AI provider key or local model at no charge from TechMitten. Each plan renews automatically every month, adding its monthly AI Credits, until you cancel; each month's credits must be used within that month, and unused credits do not roll over. Credits are deducted as prompts and refinements run.

The plans are:

  • 3-Day Free Trial: Start your 3-day free trial with 100 AI credits. Valid payment method required. After your 3-day trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the Starter Plan at $10/month (plus applicable taxes). Cancel anytime in your account settings before your trial expires to avoid being charged. Unused trial credits do not roll over.
  • Starter Plan: Start your Starter Plan with 1,000 AI credits every month. Valid payment method required. Your subscription will automatically renew at $10/month (plus applicable taxes). Cancel anytime in your account settings before your next billing date to avoid being charged. Credits reset each month; unused credits do not roll over.
  • Builder Plan: Start your Builder Plan with 2,750 AI credits every month, including 250 bonus credits. Valid payment method required. Your subscription will automatically renew at $25/month (plus applicable taxes). Cancel anytime in your account settings before your next billing date to avoid being charged. Credits reset each month; unused credits do not roll over.
  • Studio Plan: Start your Studio Plan with 6,000 AI credits every month, including 1,000 bonus credits. Valid payment method required. Your subscription will automatically renew at $50/month (plus applicable taxes). Cancel anytime in your account settings before your next billing date to avoid being charged. Credits reset each month; unused credits do not roll over.

When you configure your own AI provider, your use of that provider is subject to that provider's terms, privacy policy, availability, content rules, and fees.

If you link and use Pollinations within AppBlips, your Pollinations usage includes an additional fee from which 20% goes to TechMitten LLC to support the project. The same fee and 20% credit to TechMitten LLC also apply when you include Pollinations AI in your own generated projects and configure them so that your visitors pay for AI usage through Pollinations OAuth.

You are solely responsible for monitoring your API consumption, configuring spending limits or usage caps with your provider, and paying all fees or charges billed by that provider. Any token counter, usage indicator, or cost display included in AppBlips is provided for convenience as an approximation only, may not reflect actual provider tokenization or billing, and should not be relied upon as completely accurate. Always refer to your AI provider's official dashboard for authoritative usage and billing records. TechMitten LLC is not responsible or liable for any third-party API costs, token consumption, or billing charges you incur—including any unexpected, excessive, or unintended usage resulting from software bugs, inaccurate token estimates, automated retries, loops, configuration errors, or other defects in AppBlips.

04Refund Policy

AppBlips AI Credits plans are sold through Polar.sh as Merchant of Record, and approved refunds are issued by Polar to the original payment method.

  • Unused monthly credits: you may request a full refund of a monthly charge within 24 hours of that charge if none of that month's credits have been used.
  • Used or partly used credits: once any of a month's credits have been spent on prompts or refinements, that charge is not automatically refundable, and refunds are not guaranteed more than 24 hours after a charge. Cancelling stops future renewals.
  • Free trial: the 3-day free trial is free, and a valid payment method is required to start it. After your 3-day trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the Starter Plan at $10/month (plus applicable taxes). Cancel anytime in your account settings (the Customer Portal) before your trial expires to avoid being charged; if you cancel, your access continues until the end of your trial. Unused trial credits do not roll over.
  • AI results: AI is not perfect, and by using AppBlips you accept that. Credits are used each time the AI runs, whatever the result. We are not obligated to refund a charge or restore credits because you are unhappy with what the AI produced, or because a build, edit, fix, or review did not work, contained errors, or did not do what you asked. Getting the result you want may take several attempts, and each attempt uses credits.
  • Case by case: if something went badly for you, you can still ask. We review each request individually and may, at our sole discretion, refund all or part of a charge or restore credits. A refund or credit given in one case does not create an obligation to give one in any other.
  • Billing errors: if you were charged credits for a request that never ran because of an error on our servers, contact us and we will restore those credits. This does not cover the quality or outcome of AI results described above.

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout and include your Polar order number if you have it. Refunded credits are removed from your balance. Charges billed by third-party AI providers you configure yourself are not sold by TechMitten and cannot be refunded by us. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

05Your Content and AI Output

Your work

As between you and TechMitten, you retain your rights in prompts, custom code, projects, and generated applications.

Review output

AI output may contain errors, vulnerabilities, or material similar to other output. Review and test it before relying on, distributing, or publishing it.

You are responsible for the content you create, the prompts and files you send to your chosen provider, and any application you distribute or host.

06Acceptable Use

You may not use AppBlips to violate applicable law or the rights of others. This includes creating or distributing malware, phishing interfaces, abusive automation, infringing material, or tools intended to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

07Updates and Availability

We may release, change, or stop maintaining versions of AppBlips at any time. Because the software is open source, you may continue using an existing copy or maintain your own version subject to the MIT license. Third-party AI services and other integrations may change independently of AppBlips.

08Disclaimer and Liability

AppBlips is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that generated output will be accurate, secure, original, or fit for a particular purpose.

You understand that AI is not perfect: it can misunderstand a request, produce code that has errors or does not work, or fail to finish a task. These are expected limits of AI, not defects in AppBlips, and they do not by themselves entitle you to a refund or to credits back (see the Refund Policy for how we review requests case by case).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechMitten LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any third-party API fees, usage charges, or lost profits, data, or revenue arising from use of AppBlips, even if caused by a defect or error in the software. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid TechMitten for AppBlips—which is zero.

09Changes and Governing Law

We may update these terms by changing the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, where permitted by law.
